Fourthchild Cafe & Restaurant

Nestled amongst the beautiful heritage buildings in Ipswich’s Top of Town precinct is Fourthchild Café and Restaurant, offering a unique and tasty blend of urban-inspired gourmet flavours and old-world ambience. 

Fourthchild is located at 215 Brisbane Street, one of the Top of Town’s iconic heritage buildings, which dates back to the 1800s. The original building, called the Shamrock Inn, burned to the ground in 1885 before being rebuilt and called the Union. Owners at the time, the Callaghans, renamed it the Settlers Inn for the Prince of Wales’s visit to Ipswich in 1920.

This vibrant café and restaurant boasts a diverse and mouth-watering menu, where locally grown ingredients and produce are the stars, and each morsel is created in-house by Fourthchild’s team of qualified chefs.
